Fall Foundation: The Boulder Beach House

With winter just around the corner, we're going full steam ahead on the the foundation pour for the Boulder Beach House- our very last spec cabin on the Black Sturgeon Lake development.

With the foundation having passed inspection and all the re-bar in place, all that was left before the concrete pour was to put down the hydronic heat lines- one of our favorite features in any cabin.

These plastic tubes run throughout the cabin and work to heat the cottage's through propane hydronic system. It's affordable, and equally as friendly towards your feet as it is the electricity bill.

Nothing is ever as simple as it seems, however. Because the Boulder Beach House is such a naturally rugged property, we had to forgo the use of regular concrete trucks in favor of this heavy duty concrete pumper.

With the foundation pour finally complete, we're ready to move on and make rest of the Boulder Beach House a reality for summer 2017!
